Trina

Meet our tri-pawd, Trina! This gal is happy-go-lucky despite having an especially rough start to life. Trina was found in a crate along the side of a road in Georgia with a severely injured right front leg. While we'll probably never know what happened to her leg, the veterinarians determined she had an old fracture that had fused poorly, making amputation the best option for Trina. Despite the horrendous circumstances she was found in, the rescue in Georgia said she was "an amazingly sweet girl right from the beginning...all tail wags and affection! She recently made the trip up to NYC to find a new home. Fully healed from her amputation and recent spay, Trina is ready for adventure (and just as quick on three legs as some dogs are on four!) Trina is a sweet gal who loves to prop her remaining front leg on you for a hug, enjoys belly rubs, has mastered "sit," and loves going on walks. At around 1 year old, Trina will benefit from some structure and training to help her transition into home life and channel that puppy-ish energy! Come meet this resilient tripod at Animal Haven!
